More on the Heart Behind 29 Eleven Mediation
29 Eleven Mediation was born from a deeply personal journey through the family court system. As a parent, I experienced firsthand the stress, confusion, and emotional weight of navigating custody disputes, mediation, and the broader legal process. I also learned something important early on: no matter how skilled a professional may be, they can’t fully understand the unique dynamics of your family, your history, or what your children truly need. In a system that can feel impersonal, having a voice in the process isn’t a luxury — it’s essential.
Along the way, I saw how often families move through mediation quickly, with conversations reduced to timelines, paperwork, and legal positions. Too many people leave the process feeling unheard, unprepared, or pressured into agreements that don’t fit real life. I wanted something different — a mediation practice that slows down enough to listen, gives families structure and strategy, and prioritizes agreements that are sustainable, child-centered, and workable.
For a season, I considered law school as a way to make a difference. But as a full-time parent, I realized my calling wasn’t to become an attorney — it was to offer a more direct, personal approach for families, combining structure and strategy with the kind of genuine care people deserve during hard seasons. Families don’t just need paperwork; they need a plan for what comes next.
This practice is more than a business — it’s a mission shaped by my experiences, my faith, and my desire to bring peace to families in hard seasons. The name 29 Eleven is rooted in my son Jeremiah and the verse Jeremiah 29:11, a reminder that even in painful transitions, there can still be hope, direction, and a future.
At 29 Eleven Mediation, our goal is simple: help families find peace, reduce conflict, and build a healthier path forward — with support that feels personal, not procedural.
